AirVenture 2026: Five Years at Oshkosh and Our Best Show Yet
If you’ve never experienced EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, it’s hard to put into words.
With nearly 800,000 aviation enthusiasts attending this year’s event, AirVenture 2026 became one of largest gathering in the show’s history. But for us, it wasn’t the record attendance that made this year so memorable. It was the people.
This year marked our fifth consecutive year exhibiting at AirVenture, and every year we’re reminded that Oshkosh is far more than an airshow. It’s an annual aviation family reunion where pilots, builders, mechanics, students, and aviation enthusiasts from around the world come together to celebrate their passion for flight.
One of the best parts of the week was hearing from so many returning customers.
Pilots stopped by our booth throughout the show to tell us about the headsets, adapters, and accessories they purchased from us years ago that are still flying with them today. Hearing how our products have become part of their flying adventures is incredibly rewarding and reminds us why we do what we do.
One story really stood out.
A father stopped by our booth with his son and shared that he had purchased one of our My Little Eagle Youth Aviation Headsets five years ago when his son was just two years old. Now seven years old, he’s still proudly wearing the same headset and loving every minute of it.
Needless to say, we couldn’t let them leave without sending them home with a little Hobbs Flyer swag.
Stories like this were repeated over and over throughout the week.
Those conversations mean more to us than any sales number ever could. They remind us that the products we design become part of family adventures, first flights, flight training, cross country trips, and memories that last a lifetime.
That kind of feedback is one of the biggest motivators for us. It inspires us to keep listening to pilots and continue developing innovative products that solve real problems in the cockpit while delivering the quality, comfort, and reliability you’ve come to expect from Hobbs Flyer.
This year’s show also gave us the opportunity to introduce several exciting new products, including our USB Powered 6 Pin LEMO to GA Twin Plug Adapter, which allows pilots to power their panel powered LEMO headsets from virtually any aircraft equipped with standard twin plug jacks. The excitement and feedback we received throughout the week confirmed that we’re building products pilots truly want and need.
To everyone who stopped by our booth, whether you purchased your first Hobbs Flyer product, shared a story about gear you’ve been flying with for years, or simply stopped by to say hello, thank you. You made our fifth AirVenture one we’ll never forget.
We’re already counting down the days until Oshkosh 2027. Than you and see you next year!
