Hobbs Flyer in Alaska: The Great Alaska Aviation Gathering Recap
We had an incredible time at the 28th annual Great Alaska Aviation Gathering in Palmer, AK, earlier this month and want to thank all of our new friends in Alaska who stopped by our booth to check out and demo our headsets.
The Great Alaska Aviation Gathering is Alaska’s largest aviation event, celebrating the state’s aviation industry and community. It attracts pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and industry professionals from across the country, offering a mix of educational, recreational, and networking opportunities. The 2026 event was the 28th year of this amazing event.

This was our first time visiting Alaska, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation we had.
From the moment the show started, we were blown away by how welcoming and receptive everyone was. We had the opportunity to meet so many passionate pilots, aircraft owners, flight instructors, and aviation enthusiasts who took the time to learn more about Hobbs Flyer and try our insanely comfortable aviation headsets for themselves.

One thing that stood out immediately was how strong and active the aviation community is in Alaska. Aviation is not just a hobby there. For many people, it is a way of life. It was an honor to be part of such an important aviation event and to have the opportunity to introduce Alaskan pilots to our products.

We also had the chance to explore some of the incredible scenery Alaska is known for, and one of the highlights of the trip was seeing the Matanuska Glacier up close and in person. Pictures simply do not do it justice. Standing next to something that massive and beautiful was absolutely breathtaking.

Alaska is an amazingly beautiful state, and after visiting, we completely understand why people love it so much and why so many from the lower 48 decide to make Alaska their permanent home.
To everyone who visited our booth, thank you again for the warm welcome, the great conversations, and the support. We truly enjoyed meeting all of you and sharing our passion for aviation.

We already cannot wait to come back. Until next time, Alaska!
