This adapter allows you to use your civilian U-174 helicopter headset in Airbus, ATR, Embraer, and other aircraft equipped with a 5-pin XLR headset connection.
The Helicopter U-174 to Airbus 5-Pin XLR Adapter features a female U-174 helicopter jack on one end and a 5-pin Airbus / Embraer XLR connector on the other, allowing compatible Bose, David Clark, and Lightspeed helicopter headsets to be used in Airbus, ATR, Embraer, and other aircraft equipped with a 5-pin XLR headset connection.
Important: This adapter does not convert microphone impedance. Helicopter headsets equipped with a military microphone will require a civilian microphone for use with this adapter in Airbus, ATR, and Embraer aircraft. Civilian replacement microphones are available on our Headset Parts page.
