Looking for an aviation headset similar in performance to the A20? Look no further. The Hobbs Flyer H2 Active (with Bluetooth) is an insanely comfortable noise-canceling headset featuring a classic bulletproof design and modern technology for today's pilots. Features include active noise reduction, advanced Bluetooth music streaming, and a noise-canceling electret microphone - all at an unbeatable mix of performance and value.

Active noise reduction
The smart Active Noise Reduction (ANR) filters out the noise you don't want while keeping critical engine, system, and stall warning alerts. The H2 Actively reduces cockpit noise by up to 52dB for a quieter environment and a more enjoyable flight experience.

Advanced Bluetooth capabilities
Advanced Bluetooth 5.0 lets you wirelessly connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time for hands-free phone calls, music, traffic, terrain, and runway alerts from your EFB on your iPad, phone, or tablet.

AUX input
The 3.5mm music input port and the optional audio input cable provide additional connectivity options.

Crystal clear communication
The H2's noise-canceling microphone filters out unwanted ambient noise for crisp, clear, and quiet communication.

Comfortable head cushion and ear seals
The pillow-cell foam head cushion is extremely soft and conforms to the shape of the head. Space between Individual pillow cells allows airflow to keep your head cool and comfortable.

Stereo audio with dual volume controls
H2's Stereo capability allows you to take advantage of a stereo-equipped intercom for rich, crisp audio.

Auto power off
The auto power-off feature will help to conserve battery when the headset is not in use.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What's different about the Hobbs Flyer H2 aviation headset?

The Hobbs Flyer H2 combines excellent active noise reduction, advanced Bluetooth connectivity, premium comfort, and exceptional value in one headset. Designed by a pilot for pilots, the H2 delivers the same core features and benefits found in many premium aviation headsets costing over $1,200, while providing outstanding comfort, crystal-clear communications, and dependable performance at a fraction of the price.

Can I pair my iPad running ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot with this headset?

Yes. The H2 features advanced Bluetooth technology that supports simultaneous connections to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. For example, you can pair your iPad running ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot to receive ADS-B audio alerts such as traffic advisories, runway notifications, and altitude callouts streamed directly to your headset. At the same time, you can connect your smartphone to stream music or make phone calls without missing important aviation alerts. For even greater flexibility, the built-in 3.5 mm auxiliary (AUX) input allows you to connect a third audio source.

Why can I only hear audio in one ear? Is my headset defective?

If you can only hear audio in one ear, the headset is most likely set to Stereo mode while your aircraft's intercom is configured for Mono operation. The Hobbs Flyer H2 supports both Stereo and Mono intercom systems. If your aircraft uses a mono intercom and the headset is set to stereo, you'll only hear audio in one ear. Simply move the Stereo/Mono switch to Mono. The switch is conveniently located inside the battery compartment.

Can I use the Hobbs Flyer H2 in both my airplane and helicopter?

Yes. The Hobbs Flyer H2 comes standard with General Aviation (GA) twin plugs (PJ-068 and PJ-055), making it compatible with fixed-wing aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, Cirrus, Diamond, and many other aircraft that use standard GA headset jacks. Although the Hobbs Flyer H2 comes standard with General Aviation (GA) twin plugs (PJ-068 and PJ-055), we offer a GA Twin Plug to U174 Helicopter Adapter that allows you to use the headset in most helicopters equipped with a U174 connector. Simply connect the adapter to your headset, and you'll be ready to fly helicopters without purchasing a second headset.

Can I return the headset if I don't like it, and what warranty is included?

Yes. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If the headset isn't the right fit for you, you may return it within 30 days of delivery in accordance with our return policy. Every Hobbs Flyer H2 is also backed by a 2-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, so you can purchase with confidence knowing we'll stand behind your headset.
