"Since my warranty was expired with Bose, this was the cheaper option rather than sending it in and getting repaired. It really is a plug and play replacement, 4 screws and a 3-pin connector makes it user friendly, not to mention the replacement instructions provided by Hobbsflyer on their website. Highly recommend."

Repair Part Saves $1,200 headset
"Attempting repair through Bose was problematic. Bose asks for the serial number of the unit which is difficult to find and read. The number was ambiguous between the 3 and 8 numerals. I tried all combinations for their site to recognize with no success. This is required to obtain a parts list. I complained through their portal and finally got access to a parts list. There is no mic assembly, only individual parts requiring tedious self-repair. Then I found Hobbs with a complete mic assembly. Not sure how they acquired this but it made the repair relatively easy and economical. I feel like I now have a brand new A20 headset. Thank you Hobbs."

"Bose no longer provide spares or support for the A20. These guys do both, buy the parts you need and then follow the guide to fix your headset. It’s pretty straightforward. Now my headset works again, cheaper than shelling out for an A30."
